Each line of the electronic bank statement (this is also known as bank data storage) can be linked with up to two accounting documents: with one G/L document and with one subsidiary ledger document.
Note
It is possible for a bank statement to comprise very many single records, so including the complete statement within the DRB would have totally overloaded it. Consequently in the DRB the single records (meaning the lines of the electronic bank statement) are treated as individual objects. These objects are described as bank statement line items.
To optimize the DRB functions for bank statement line items, including archived data, you are recommended to proceed as follows:
Make sure that a database index exists for table FEBEP that begins with fields MANDT and BELNR.
Make sure that a database index exists for table FEBEP that begins with fields MANDT and NBBLN.
Create an archive information object for field catalog SAP_FI_ELBANK_2. Insert fields BELNR and NBBLN.
Create a secondary index for the new information structure as set out in SAP Note 164704. Include fields MANDT and BELNR.
Create a further secondary index for the new information structure with the fields MANDT and NBBLN.
Activate the archive information structure and construct it for the desired archive files.
