You use this app to manage customer master data centrally for departments involved with sales.
You can perform the following tasks if you have the role customer master data specialist:
Search for an existing customer
Display an existing customer
Create a new customer
Create a new customer from an another existing business partner with a different role, for example, supplier
Change data of existing customer
You can create data for a new customer (person or organization) that includes general and finance data, sales areas, company codes, as well as contacts.
You can edit an existing customer's data.
You can display an existing customer's data.
To create a new customer as an organization or person, do the following:
Specify a customer account group.
Enter necessary information such as the name and address to define your customer and save your data. The customer will be displayed.
You have searched for a customer but your business partner only
exists with the supplier
role.
To create the customer

for this business partner, do the following:
Select your supplier from the search result list and create this supplier as a customer.
Specify a customer account group.
Enter necessary information such as the name and address to define your customer and save your data. The customer will be saved with the two roles.
