Setting Up the Host in Knowledge Management's URL Generator Service

Use

The URL generator service generates URLs for applications and various kinds of resources. It is called whenever a URL is needed to access a resource, such as a document link in a message that is sent to a user.

The URL generator service is preconfigured in the standard version. If the Host parameter is empty, enter the host here for https or http, together with the corresponding port.

Procedure

1. Log on to the portal.

2. Choose System Administration   System Configuration   Knowledge Management    Content Management   Global Services   Show Advanced Options   URL Generator Service.

3. Enter the required data under Host .
