Configuration: Business Package for Instructor/Tutor (SAP ERP)

Purpose

You use this process to make the necessary settings to integrate the Business Package for Instructor/Tutor (SAP ERP) into your portal.

Prerequisites

You have obtained an overview of the software components required and the implementation strategy. To do this, see the Master Guides and the Installation Guides on SAP Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com/erp-inst .

To use all the functions of the Business Package for Instructor and Tutor (SAP ERP) 1.41 , the following must be installed:

  • SAP NetWeaver 7.0 with:

    • Enterprise Portal

    • Application Server ABAP

    • System Landscape Directory (SLD) (with JCo connection to the J2EE Engine and to the ERP system)

  • Web Dynpro Software Components (Web Dynpro development components):

    • LSO_WDUI

  • Business Packages:

    • Business Package for Instructor/Tutor

    • Business Package for Common Parts

    • Business Package for Learning

      You require this business package if you also want to implement the Learning Portal for your employees in addition to the Instructor Portal.

    • Business Package for Course Administrator

      You require this business package if you also want to implement the Course Administrator Portal.

Process Flow

  1. You set up the system landscape in the portal (see Setting Up the System Landscape ).
