Employees can use this service to request a reprint of their Form W-2/ W-2C from the previous year.

Prerequisites

  • You have made the necessary settings for Personnel Management under Employee Self-Service.

  • The employee has an SAP user that is directly linked to his or her employee master data in the SAP system, via the Communication infotype (0105).

  • The employee's W-2 has been printed and the corresponding TemSe file created. For more information, see Generating Tax Forms.

Features

When employees request a reprint of Form W-2 or W-2c with this service, they can choose between picking up the reprint in the Payroll Department of the company, or having the copy sent to their home address.

Configuration

You can set up which address data the system uses in the reprint. You do so in Customizing for Personnel Management under Start of the navigation path Employee Self-Service Next navigation step Service-Specific Settings Next navigation step Benefits and Payment Next navigation step W-2 Reprint Next navigation step Edit Address Data End of the navigation path. In this activity, you can select different subtypes of the Addresses infotype (0006), for example, permanent residence or temporary residence.
