Start or Repeat a Process or Process StepYou start and repeat processes and process steps in the same way. The status indicates whether you need to perform a start or repeat.
You start or repeat a process step for the following reasons:
Breakpoint
A conditional or unconditional breakpoint precedes the process step.
Process termination
Process steps can be terminated because of a program error or technical error. You can display the reason for the termination in the job log .
Incorrect personnel numbers
Use the spool list and job log to check the process step. Remove the error and repeat the process step.
Note
If a process step or process is repeated, the following personnel numbers are processed again:
Personnel numbers
without
the status
Successful
Personnel numbers with the status
Not Selected
Caution
You can only repeat processes, process steps, and personnel number sets that were successful if you change the status for the personnel numbers in question.
You have created a process .
Select the process or process step you want to start or repeat and choose .
Specify whether you want to start the process or process step immediately, or whether you would prefer to schedule it.
If you start a process immediately, specify a variant on the selection screen of the
selection program
or enter the payroll area and payroll period and choose
Execute
.
The process starts at the specified point in time and is processed in the background.
You can check the process flow using process control .
