Data Transfer from External Systems and Source Systems

If you want to transfer business partner data en masse into your target system, then you can use the following transfer methods:

  • Direct input

    You transfer data using the direct input method that is used as part of external data transfer.

    The transfer category 15 and the receiver structure BUS_DI are defined for direct input (DI) for SAP Business Partner for Financial Services. This transfer category adds the specific data for financial services to the general business partner data.

  • Business Application Programming Interface

    You use the existing Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs) for the business partner, which can be used via the Data Transfer Workbench or customer-defined transfer programs.

    You can find the business partner BAPIs in BAPI Explorer under Start of the navigation pathCross-Application Components Next navigation step Financial Services End of the navigation path:

    • Total Commitment

    • BusinessPartnerFS

    • BPGenShareholderRel

    To display all the BAPIs for the business partner, in BAPI Explorer choose Start of the navigation pathGoto Next navigation step BAPIs to Display Next navigation step AllEnd of the navigation path.

  • Complex interface

    You use the complex interface for the business partner, which can be used via the Data Transfer Workbench or customer-defined transfer programs.
