Transaction: Set Deletion/Archiving Flag (BUPA_PRE_DA)

Use

Transaction BUPA_PRE_DA enables you to set the archiving flag for SAP Business Partner for Financial Services in a mass process.

Procedure

You use the function specific to Financial Services that automatically sets the archiving flag as follows:

Call transaction BUPA_PRE_DA. The Business Partner: Set Deletion/Archiving Flag screen appears.

  1. If necessary, limit the number of business partners to be processed.

  2. Enter the value FSBP_RESID (Residence Time of a BP in Syst) in the Filter field under Variant for Additional Restrictions.

    Only this filter value includes the settings made for SAP Business Partner for Financial Services in the Customizing activity Define Residence Time for Business Partner To Be Archived.

  3. Set the To Be Archived and System Status "Can Be Archived" checkboxes under Deletion/Archiving Flag.

Result

  • The system selects all business partners entered.

  • The system checks whether the business partners you have selected are used in a particular application:

    • If the selected business partner is no longer used, the report continues to process this business partner.

  • The system checks whether the selected business partner exists in a business partner role that was defined in the Customizing activity Define Residence Time for Business Partner To Be Archived.

    • If the selected business partner exists in the defined business partner role, the report continues to process the business partner.

  • The system checks whether the residence time defined in the Customizing activity Define Residence Time for Business Partner To Be Archived has expired for the business partner you want to archive.

    • If the residence time for the business partner to be archived has expired, the system sets the Archiving Flag.
