Application Management
Use
You use this function to create, modify, copy, delete and archive applications for demand-side management programs.
Prerequisites
You have activated the business function SAP Energy Demand-Side Management for Utilities (CRM_UT_DSM_2).
Features
Creating Applications
You can create an application by either choosing the New pushbutton or by using the CRM_IU_DSM_APL_CREATE function module. For more information, see Application Processing
Releasing Applications
You can only set an application to status Released when it is error-free.
Adding Measures and Incentives to Applications
You can add any number of incentives and measures to an application. For more information, see Addition of Incentives to Measures in Applications and Agreements and Addition of Measures to Applications or Agreements.
Copying Applications
You can copy an existing demand-side management application where the original application is copied, including incentives, measures, and so on.

Deleting Applications
You can only delete an application that is in status Open.
Modifying Applications
You can modify an application to a certain extent, depending on its status.
Archiving Applications
You can archive an application when the application header status is Agreement created or Canceled. The archiving object iscrm_dsmapl.
Creating Activities
You can create a configured SAP CRM activity. You can select the type of activity, which is linked with the document flow to this application.
Creating Tasks
You can create to-do items for an application with task descriptions, importance, status, and so on, and assign them to your employees for follow-up.
Running Eligibility Check
You can run an eligibility check on an application to check whether a particular customer is eligible to participate in a demand-response or energy-efficiency program. For more information, see Eligibility Check.
