Billable Item in Demand Side Management
Definition
An item replicated as a one-off charge from a billing request item (BRI) in SAP CRM to SAP ERP Central Component (ECC).
Use
Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) creates one billable item for each BRI. Convergent invoicing is used to process the billable items, which are one-off charges containing the information from the BRIs. This information is required for invoicing, and includes the business partner and business agreement information, as well as the item category of the BRIs and the account assignment group from the incentive. The item category is mapped to a billing process and subprocess in FI-CA, which allows you to select the billing items when you create a billing document. For more information, see Creating Billing Documents for Financial Incentive Payments.

-
Business partner ID
