Resending Business Partner Information

Use

You can resend business partner information to clean up inconsistencies in the business partner data, business partner relationship data or in the business purpose status of the business partner. Inconsistencies can arise if an information message was stopped, was incorrect, or was not processed correctly in the receiver system for a different reason.

Prerequisites

  • You have activated the following business functions:

    • FSBP CRM Area Menu & IMG in order to start the report on the SAP Easy Access screen

    • FS Business Partner Reconciliation in order to clean up inconsistencies in the business partner data and business partner relationship data

    • Business Partner ILM in order to clean up inconsistencies in the business purpose status

Features

The system creates new change pointers for the business partners and sends new information messages.

Activities

To create new change pointers, you can start the following reports on the SAP Easy Access screen by choosing Start of the navigation pathIndustries Next navigation step Financial Services Next navigation step Business Partner Next navigation step Periodic TasksEnd of the navigation path:

  • Select Business Partner Lock Information for Sending

  • Select Info About Business Partner and BP Relationship for Sending

You then use Agent Framework (FS-FND-AF) to read these change pointers and send new information messages.
