Archiving Business Rules

Prerequisites

You have ensured that you are an Administrator and you have the required roles assigned to you.

For more information, see Authorizations and Roles .
You have defined an archive store for storing the Rules Business Logs.
You have configured your Java system environment.

For more information, see Administration of the XML Data Archiving Service .

You use this procedure to move your Business Rules from the database and archive them in an archive store. You can also have a remote archive store.

Access https://<servername>:<Port>/nwa and log on to SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
Choose Operations Data and Databases
Choose Java Archiving Cockpit .
In the Java Archiving Cockpit: Archiving Monitor window, choose Write .
In the Archiving Set field, select brm_rules .
In the Selection Criteria section, specify the time period for which you want to archive the logs.
In the Schedule Settings section, select Start Now if you want to commence the logs archiving now.
If you want to schedule archiving of the logs for a particular time, enter the relevant date and time.
Choose Start Write Session .
