Multiple Absences and Restrictions

You can specify multiple absences and multiple restrictions for the persons affected in an incident/accident log entry.

Prerequisites

In Customizing for Basic Data and Tools , you have set the environment parameter IAL_FLG_NEW_TIMEDATA_TAB so that the system uses the new version of the Time Data tab page.

Before you use incident/accident management for the first time, you have executed the following programs:

REHSI_X_MULT_ABS_DATA_UPD

REHSI_X_MULT_RES_DATA_UPD

You cannot go back to using the old Time Data tab page once you have set the new Time Data tab page.

Result

On the Incident/Accident Log: Display/Edit Person-Specific Data screen, you can assign multiple absences and restrictions on the Time Data tab page:

In the Absence group box, you can assign more than one absence to an incident/accident log entry.

In the Restriction or Job Transfer group box, you can assign more than one restriction to the incident/accident log entry.

The restrictions you enter here are available for use in Occupational Health too. And on the Time Data tab page, you also have access to the restrictions that you entered in Occupational Health

The new Time Data tab page has effects on extraction to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (BI) because the DataSource Accidents: Persons Involved (0EHS_IH_IA_1) and the corresponding InfoSource Accidents: Persons Involved (0EHS_IH_IA_1) each have only one field for absence days and working days with restrictions or job transfer.

The absence days of an injured person are interpreted as the total sum of the multiple absence days.

The calendar days with absences are interpreted as the total sum of calendar days with absences.

The working days with restrictions or job transfer are not supplied to BI because a total sum of multiple working days with restrictions or job transfer can lead to misinterpretations.

The calendar days with restrictions or job transfer are not supplied to BI because a total sum of multiple calendar days with restrictions or job transfer can lead to misinterpretations.

Restrictions are located in Occupational Health . For this reason, the restrictions themselves are not assigned a version but only their assignment.
