Entering Analysis Results and Measured Values With this procedure you can enter in the system and evaluate the analysis values and measured values that you have received as results of the measurements performed. If you use the import function, it is possible that values from the analysis lab were already imported into your measurement project (see Exporting and Importing of Measurement Data ).
The procedure describes the following steps:
Checking analysis values and entering measured values
Selecting reference values
You have opened your measurement project and expanded the project tree in the navigation area.
Depending on how you have implemented the import function, measurements for which analysis values were imported can have the status
Measurement Results Recorded
. Measurements that have this status are marked in the project tree with the color
red.
If at least one measurement in the measurement project has the status
Measurement Results Recorded
, the system also marks the corresponding work area and the measurement project
red
in the project tree.
Measurements that are in a final status, that is measurements whose data you can no longer edit, are marked in the project tree with the color
green.
For measurements, the following statuses are final statuses:
Partial Measurement
No Measurement
Mismeasurement
Released
In the navigation area, click the measurement you want to edit and change to the
Measured Values
tab page in the application area.
Select the required agent and choose
with the quick info text
Choose Meas.
Value
. This activates the group box
Measured Value for <Key and Description of Agent>
in the lower part of the screen, and any existing values for the agent are displayed.
Note the following when editing the values:
If an analysis value exists and it was transmitted from the analysis lab via the import function, the
Analysis Lab
indicator is set. If the system could not interpret this analysis value exactly, the value is preceded by “approx.”. In this case, you must enter the valid value by hand under
Measured Value
. If you have change authorization, you can also change the analysis value. This authorization is checked by the authorization object C_EHSI_MOR (editing of original analysis value).
If no analysis value was imported and you want to enter the values directly, specify the following information:
Amount category
Measured value category
Analysis value
The analysis value is then transferred to the
Measured Value
field as a proposal.
Measured value
Enter the measured value and its unit of measurement and enter the degree of detectability if necessary. Confirm the value with
Enter
. This enters the measured value on the
Measured Value
tab page in the
Meas. Result
field for the agent.
A comment on the measured value if required

If the
Convert
indicator is set on the
Measurement
tab page, the system converts the measured value to the shift value with a measurement duration of 480 minutes before transferring it to the Meas.
Result
field.
If you have received only a value for mass or volume for a measured value instead of a concentration, you can convert the value to the respective concentration.
To do this, choose
with the quick info text
Calculate Concentration
. As the prerequisite for this you must have specified the total volume on the
Measurement
tab page.
You can also convert a volume concentration to a mass concentration and vice versa. To do this, choose
with the quick info text
Convert Unit
The units are converted using the user exit MJVA_COMP.
For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Basic Data and Tools
If you want to enter measured values for an agent that does not yet exist on the
Measured Values
tab page, you can insert this agent in the measurement using the input help for the
Agent
field. The input help displays all agents to which the measurement method is assigned (in
specification management
) for the measurement you are currently editing.
If precisely one reference value exists in specification management for the agent whose measured values you are entering, which matches the validity area of the site of the measurement project, the system automatically transfers this value to the
Measured Values
tab page. If the system determines a number of reference values, you must select the relevant one. To do this, proceed as follows:
In the application area for the measurement, select the required agent. Then choose the
Ref. Val.
pushbutton.
A dialog box appears in which all reference values are displayed that exist for this agent and that match the validity area of the site.
Click the relevant value and choose
with the quick info text
Transfer
The system transfers the reference value and also displays the regulatory list, for example, the
substance listif this was specified when the reference value was entered. It also enters the
individual index
in the
Measured Value for <Key and Description of Agent>
group box, which it determines as the quotient of the measurement result and the reference value.
If the individual index is greater than one, the reference value has been exceeded.
In this case, the system adds a warning icon (
) in front of the measurement in the project tree.
So that it is also possible to recognize immediately from the higher levels of the project tree that a reference value was exceeded, the system also adds the icon to the work area for the measurement and to the measurement project.
The system can calculate the individual index only if the following prerequisites are fulfilled:
You have selected a reference value.
The measurement result has the same unit of measurement as the reference value.
To convert the measured value you can use the
pushbutton with the quick info text
