Maintaining an Article Range
You use this function to select a subset of articles available in your area of responsibility. While the number of articles available to a perishables buyer through their area of responsibility can be quite large, this list will not realistically be used in its entirety at all times. Therefore, perishables buyers will typically maintain their article range on a regular, short-term basis (for example, weekly or monthly).
Activities
A perishables buyer can access the Article Range
function directly through the Perishables Procurement
work center. The function allows you to:
Select articles from your own area of responsibility or from that of another perishables buyer
Add articles to a list for immediate procurement
Add articles to a list for future procurement (by indicating an activation date)
Note
Adding articles to an article range does not remove them from the area of responsibility.
