You use this function to distribute articles to your recipients. The articles that the perishables buyer sees available for distribution were first added via the Article Range function.

Prerequisites

This Distribution List function allows you to view two sets of sales prices:

  • Supplying site sales prices (average, minimum, and maximum prices)

  • Recipient sales prices (average, minimum, and maximum prices)

You can specify which prices you want displayed in Customizing by choosing Start of the navigation path Articles Management Next navigation step Purchasing Next navigation step Perishables Procurement Next navigation step General Settings Next navigation step Maintain Order Settings End of the navigation path.

Features

The distribution list provides you with key data, such as:

  • Article name and description

  • Recipient order quantity

  • On-stock quantity

  • Open order quantity

  • Article quantity in short or in surplus

In addition, you can:

  • Enter quantities for each article and recipient in the distribution list

  • Add recipients and articles directly to the distribution list

  • Implement distribution strategies and fair-share rules

Activities

Add Articles

Choose Add Article to add articles directly to the distribution list. You can assign recipients and quantities on the fly as required.

Assign Quantities

Choose Quantity Assignment Details to assign quantities of a specific article to all recipients expecting delivery. You can assign quantities manually for each recipient, or you can assign a combination of distribution strategies and fair-share rules for optimal distribution.

Take Recipient Order Quantities

Choose Take Rec Order Quantities to assign the Distribution Quantity fields with values from their corresponding Rec Order Quantity fields.

Statistical Data

Choose Statistical Data to access business intelligence data for your distribution quantities, recipients, prices, and dates.

Quick Procurement

Choose Quick Procurement to increase your future on-stock quantities.
