HS1-1 Hospital Annual Report About Beds
The HS1-1 report is an annual report mainly used to provide bed information at the department level. The report contains information such as the address of a hospital, the planned and actual numbers of beds in each department, and the numbers of outpatient admissions and inpatient discharges in a hospital.
To get data about beds, you should maintain bed assignments in the system. To do so, on the SAP Easy Access
screen, you choose .
HS1-9 Hospital Monthly Report About Cases and Diagnoses
The HS1-9 report is a monthly report used to provide information about cases and diagnoses. The report is divided into three major sections: the number of cases, the degree of correspondence between diagnoses at admission and discharge, and the degree of correspondence between diagnoses before and after a surgery.
Below is a list of the information required by this report:
Death figure
The death figure totals the numbers of inpatient cases whose movement type is Deceased, and outpatient cases whose case end type is Deceased.
You define a discharge type as Deceased for inpatient cases in Customizing for SAP Healthcare – Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals

You define a case end type as Deceased for outpatient cases in Customizing for SAP Healthcare – Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals

Emergency cases
An emergency case refers to an outpatient case whose visit type is Emergency Case.
You define a movement type as Emergency Case for outpatient cases in Customizing for SAP Healthcare – Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals

Cases with cured, recovered, or uncured discharge
You define the discharge reason of a case as Cured, Recovered, or Uncured in Customizing for SAP Healthcare – Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals
under . Discharge reason code 1 means cured, 2 means recovery, and 3 means uncured.
Cases with same or different admission and discharge diagnoses
If the main diagnosis, the admission diagnosis, and the discharge diagnosis are the same, the case is regarded as having the same admission and discharge diagnoses.
If the main diagnosis is either the admission or the discharge diagnosis, and the admission and discharge diagnoses are different, the case is regarded as having different admission and discharge diagnoses.
If a case has no main diagnosis, admission diagnosis, or discharge diagnosis, its attribute cannot be determined.
The system checks diagnoses in the order of the hospital main diagnosis, the department main diagnosis, the last confirmed diagnosis. To enter diagnoses for a case, on the SAP Easy Access
screen, you choose .
Cases with or without a changed diagnosis after a surgery
If, in a case, there are one main surgery and only one diagnosis that is a surgery diagnosis, the case is considered as without a changed diagnosis after a surgery whether the surgery diagnosis is made before or after the main surgery.
In a case, there is one main surgery. Both before and after the main surgery, there are diagnoses that can be surgery diagnoses, departmental main diagnoses, hospital main diagnoses, or confirmed diagnoses. The system compares the diagnosis codes. If the diagnosis codes are different, the case
is regarded as with a changed diagnosis after a surgery. A main surgery refers to a surgical procedure whose MC
checkbox is selected. There can be only one main surgery in each case.

HS4 Hospital Quarterly Report About Discharged Patients
The HS4 is a quarterly report used to provide statistics about discharged patients. The report is divided into three major sections: patient master data, diagnoses at admission and discharge, and surgery information.
