Specifying Values for the Parameter Keys
Context
You use this procedure to specify values for the registration, messaging, monitoring, and browser parameters.
Procedure
- Choose transaction SDOE_PARAM to open the parameter configuration table.
- Select the row that contains the DOE_CONNECTOR parameter key.
- Double-click the Parameter Names node.
- Select the row that contains the parameter name.
- Double-click the Parameter Values node.

Set this parameter to X if you want the output in a binary string format. You do not set this parameter if you want your output to be sent via HTTP as a Char String.
You can set the Validity Area as ESDMA trans if you need to set the parameter at the ESDMA level.

CREATE_DEVICE
Set this parameter to X to create a device automatically at the time of creation. When you unsubscribe, the system deletes the device
Set this parameter as blank to enable the system to search for the device. That is, the system cannot create a device automatically at the time of registration. If the system finds a matching device, it will register the device. When you unsubscribe, the system re-initialises such devices.
