Configuring Client Settings

In the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio, choose Start of the navigation path Window Next navigation step Preferences End of the navigation path .

The Preferences window appears.

Choose Start of the navigation path Mobile Next navigation step Client End of the navigation path .

Use the following table to enter the runtime settings:

Field name	Description	User action and values
SAP NetWeaver Mobile Client Installation Directory	Indicates the path in which you install the SAP NetWeaver Mobile client	This field is mandatory. Provide a valid path for the client installation directory, for example, `C:\Program Files\SAP` `NetWeaver` `Mobile Client`
JRE Version	Specifies the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version to launch Java Smart Client (JSC) when you select Run or Debug	This field is mandatory. The system uses the installed JRE as the default value.
JVM Options	Indicates the startup options that the IDE provides to the JRE, which runs the JSC, for example, heap size
Login Automatically into SAP NetWeaver Mobile client	Controls automatic login into JSC when you select Run or Debug	This option is disabled by default.
User Login Name	Indicates the user name that the IDE provides to the JSC during startup when you select Run or Debug	This field is mandatory only if you select the Login Automatically into SAP NetWeaver Mobile client option. Enter the appropriate user information.
Password	Indicates the login password that is passed to the JSC during startup when you select Run or Debug	This field is mandatory only if you select the Login Automatically into SAP NetWeaver Mobile client option. Enter the required password for the user provided.

Choose Apply .

Choose OK .
