Creating an Administrator Profile

Context

To configure the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE) in the SAP NetWeaver AS, you have to assign the administrator role to your profile. This role ensures that you have the authorizations to perform all the steps in this configuration section.

Procedure


  1. Log on to the SAP NetWeaver AS and start transaction PFCG .

  2. To configure the SAP NetWeaver AS, assign the following roles to your user ID:

    • SAP_DOE_ADMINISTRATOR

    • SAP_DOE_TECH_ADMIN

  3. To enable synchronization between the client and the DOE, assign the role SAP_DOE_SYNC_ROLE .

    You need this role only if you are installing the SAP NetWeaver Mobile client on a device, and you want to synchronize the client with the DOE.
