Manage G/L Account Master Data

 

With the transactional app Manage G/L Account Master Data, you can display, create and edit the master data of G/L accounts. You can also easily add new G/L accounts from scratch or based on existing accounts. Secondary costs are now also integrated in the chart of accounts. This app is a Fiori UI5 app (F0731A), as an alternative to the existing Web Dynpro app (F0731).

Key Features

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) related to segment reporting require a holistic view of a financial system. This allows for the publication of segmentation by geography, major products, and customers. This app therefore provides harmonized financial accounting processes without any redundancies or reconciliation issues.

Key features of this app are:

  • Search for G/L accounts

  • Display G/L account master data

  • Create G/L accounts from scratch

  • Create G/L accounts based on an existing G/L account, together with its definition at company code level if preferred

  • Edit G/L account master data

  • Assign G/L accounts to company codes

  • Assign G/L accounts to controlling areas

System Landscape Requirements

The app consists of the SAP Fiori launchpad configuration (such as the tiles and the navigation) and back-end components (such as the Web Dynpro application itself). The back-end and the front-end components are delivered in separate products and have to be installed in a system landscape that is enabled for SAP Fiori.
