Transfer Stock Data

Procedure

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation pathExtended Warehouse Management Next navigation step Interfaces Next navigation step Stock Data TransferEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Specify a warehouse number and language, as the units of measure are language-dependent.

    The highest number of handling units per posting is set at 50 pieces. You can change this value.

    Select the checkbox Do Not Post Data in ERP if required.

    For example, you must select the checkbox in one of the following cases:

    • Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is not yet connected to SAP ERP.

    • Stocks are already posted in SAP ERP, meaning you only have to post them in EWM.

    • You want to adjust the stocks later in SAP ERP.

  3. In the Source group box, specify the required data.

    1. Specify the location from which you want to upload the file:

      • From a local computer

      • From an application server

    2. Enter the file name and choose the pushbutton Upload.

      EWM uploads the file and displays it to you.

      If you are working with a file on an application server, the data is fetched from the application server, and EWM displays it to you.

      If necessary, correct the source data.

    3. Choose Execute Stock Data Transfer.

      EWM stores the data in the database, and shows you an error log if any errors occurred.
