Archiving object MC_SELVS for archiving selection versions in the component Logistics Information System (LO-LIS).

Use

You can archive selection versions at any time if they are no longer required in the system.

Selection versions are based on information structures.

Because the information structures are usually self-defined, it is impossible to give an universal estimate of how much storage space archived selection versions will require.

To estimate the amount of storage required, display the selection versions and check the selection log to determine the extent of the data.

You can also view archived selection versions by using the Archive Information System. To do so you must previously define an archive information structure. The Archive Explorer lets you find and display archived data.
