About User Roles

Users can have application roles and project roles.

Administrators can assign the following application roles in the Users tab:

Application Role

 

Project Initiator

Creates projects and assigns members as analysts or project managers.

Supervisor

Has access to and reviews variable statistics for all projects.

Administrator

Defines access to the modeling engines, data, and model sources. Creates users and assigns application roles. Defines external executables.

Users do not have access to project information until they are assigned as a member of the project by a project manager. Project initiators are automatically managers of the projects they create. They can assign the following project roles to members when adding or editing a project:

Project Role

 
Analyst
  • Imports, trains, and applies models
  • Adds and schedules tasks.
  • Analyzes the results of model training and application.

Project Manager

Edits the project information and assigns members.
