Configuring the Integration Flows and an Adapter Module

Prerequisites

You must ensure that you have a Process Orchestration installation including a BPM and an AEX system.

Context

You use this procedure to configure the integration flow and the SCPMappingBean adapter module.

Procedure

  1. Configure the integration flows:

    1. Choose Start of the navigation pathWindow  Next navigation step Open Perspective Next navigation step OtherEnd of the navigation path.

    2. Choose Process Integration Designer .

    3. Choose OK .

    4. Expand Integration Flows .

    5. Choose the integration flow configured to send messages from AEX to BPM.

  2. Configure the adapter module:

    1. In < integration flow name >, choose Receiver Channel .

    2. In the Channel view, choose Modules .

    3. In the Processing Sequence section, choose Add .

    4. In the Module Name column, select SCPMappingBean .

    5. Choose OK .

    6. Choose Move Up to execute the module first.

    7. In the Module Configuration section, enter the details as given below:

      • mappingid: Object ID of the operation mapping in the ESR.

      • persistuntil: Time period in days for which the message is stored in the message store. Details will be explained later.

      • xpath: xpath expression to the field of the lean interface in which the message ID will be placed by the bean.

  3. Save, activate, and deploy the integration flow.
