Values in Controlling are transferred directly to General Ledger Accounting using the Real-Time Integration of Controlling with General Ledger Accounting . It is not necessary to use a reconciliation ledger.
If you perform profit center accounting in New General Ledger Accounting and use profit center valuation in the system, you have to use the profit center valuation view in New General Ledger Accounting.
In contrast to classic Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA), you do not have to opt for one particular valuation view. Instead, you can analyze at the profit center level all valuation views that are updated in New General Ledger Accounting. To be able to perform an analysis at the profit center level, you need to have activated the profit center scenario for the ledger concerned.
The valuation views that you select are always updated in the
leading ledger
. For the
non
-leading ledgers, you can select the valuation views that you want to update. You make the settings for non-leading ledgers in Customizing for

.
The use of transfer prices in parallel ledgers is governed by the following conditions:
You have to update the
legal valuation in the company code currency
(currency type and valuation type
10
) in all parallel ledgers.
You cannot use a valuation view exclusively in one non-leading ledger.
In each valuation view, complete values are posted, not delta values. You can use an authorization concept to control how the datasets for the multiple valuation approaches are accessed.
In addition to legal valuation in the company code currency, a corporate group deploys a group valuation and a profit center valuation in the group currency. The group therefore uses the following currency and valuation types:
