Content Model

Use

A content model is a tool used to fulfil an application’s requirements for creating document attributes, versioning, defining relationships between documents, and so on.

With the DMWB, you can either create new content models, or take existing models and modify them to suit your requirements.

Activities

To create a content model in the DMWB, proceed as follows. Define the following:

  • At least one document area

  • Classes for logical info objects

  • Classes for physical info objects

  • Application-specific attributes

  • Classes for relationships

  • Valid relationships
