Managing Export and Import Settings

Prerequisites

You have loaded a development configuration and are now in the Configuration Service.

For more information, see the Display/Change Development Configuration section in this documentation.

Procedure

You must only execute these steps if you want to configure a standalone development configuration.

1. Select the Local Settings tab page.

2. Under Export and Import Settings enter a path to an outbound directory (outbox) where the Export Service puts the exported files, as well as a path to an inbound directory (inbox) where the Import Service searches for the files that are to be imported.

3. If the system is to create the directories (if they have not yet been created), select the Create Directory if It Does Not Exist checkbox.
