User Registration Using the AuthProxy Plugin

While the previous section described using the Logon plugin to manage registration and authentication processes, an alternative is to use the AuthProxy plugin.

If you do not require the user interface features on the Logon plugin (for example, you create your own custom UI), you can efficiently use the AuthProxy plugin to perform the registration and authentication processes.

Starting in SAP Mobile Platform SDK SP08 PL04, the AuthProxy plugin supports both X.509 and basic authentication challenges.
