Configuration Steps for SOA Manager in S4 HANA

Prerequisites

Ensure you have access to the necessary WSDL files and the S4 HANA backend.

Procedure

  1. Prepare the WSDL File.
    1. Go to Start of the navigation pathMonitor Next navigation step Manage Integration ContentEnd of the navigation path to copy the URL from CPI.
    2. Add the URL to the WSDL file present in the folder.
  2. Configure the Central System.
    1. In the S4 HANA central system's backend, go to T-code: SOAMANAGER.
    2. Choose the mode as central view.
  3. Create a Domain System.
    1. Go to Start of the navigation pathTechnical Administration Next navigation step Domain SystemsEnd of the navigation path and upload the WSDL.
    2. Save the changes.
  4. Create a Domain.
    1. Go to Start of the navigation pathTechnical Administration Next navigation step DomainsEnd of the navigation path. During creation, assign a random weight and configure as follows:
      • Select SSL (https) for Transport Level Security.
      • Select None for Message Level Security.
      • Select the User ID/Password checkbox under Transport Channel Authentication in the Authentication Method section.
      • Add both standard and previously created domain systems.
      • Activate the domain.
  5. Create Logon Data.
    1. Go to Start of the navigation pathService Administration Next navigation step Logon Data ManagementEnd of the navigation path and create new logon data using the P-user credentials for CPI systems.
  6. Create Integration Scenario Configuration.
    1. Go to Start of the navigation pathService Administration Next navigation step Integration Scenario Configuration Next navigation step CreateEnd of the navigation path to create a service group connection.
    2. Add Actors, with the first being the system default and the second from the created domain system.
    3. Select a one-way Connection Type and Service Group accordingly.
    4. Assign the logon data to the service group connection.
    5. Activate and Release the integration scenario configuration.
    6. Verify the successful release status in Config. State field.
  7. Configure the Local System.
    1. Proceed to the system you want to configure to SOAMANAGER and choose the mode as Local View.
  8. Verify Web Service Configuration.
    1. Go to Start of the navigation pathTechnical Administration Next navigation step Web Service ConfigurationEnd of the navigation path and verify whether the configuration has been created.
  9. Configure the Receiver.
    1. Go to Start of the navigation pathService Administration Next navigation step Logical Determination of Receiver using Service GroupsEnd of the navigation path and create a new one with service group and destination IBC reference.

    You can add routing details to configure when to trigger the SOAP notification to the configuration.
