Exponential Display
Use
To make results recording easier for the quality inspector, inspection specifications can be displayed analog to the result value, using an exponential display. This information is shown on the screen and allows you to compare the results and the specifications directly.
The specifications are not saved with the exponential display.

This function is not currently available in process-optimized results recording.
Features
The specifications in the results recording are adjusted to the same format as the results, irrespective of the actual number format used:
If the specifications and the result differ significantly in size, there may be rounding differences during conversion.
If the specifications and the result differ too greatly in size, the character string **** is returned in place of the converted inspection specification.
