Creating Themes for Dynamic List

Context

You can define a theme for the Web forms in a simple HTML file. In this file you can configure the themes for all Web forms that should be displayed in the Dynamic List . The theme files are located in the /etc/DynamicList/Themes repository. The default theme file has the name: BasicTheme . To enable the Dynamic List to use the HTML files for themes, you have to upload them in the /etc/DynamicList/Themes repository.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Dynamic List repository by choosing Start of the navigation pathContent Administration Next navigation step KM ContentEnd of the navigation path and then choose the /etc/DynamicList repository.
  2. Open the Themes folder.
  3. Create a copy by saving the default HTML file for the theme in the same folder. Only work with the copy. Upgrades or updates may overwrite the default theme file contained in the delivery.
  4. Edit the copy of the theme file according to the Web forms you want to be displayed in the Dynamic List .
  5. Save your modifications to the HTML file.
  6. You have to restart the Dynamic List application so the modifications are visible for the user:

    a. In the SAP NetWeaver Administrator, choose Start of the navigation pathOperations Systems Next navigation step Start & StopEnd of the navigation path.

    b. Choose the Java Applications tab.

    c. Search for com.sap.nw.wpc.dynamicList application.

    d. Select the Dynamic List application that is found and choose Restart .
