To insert a file attachment

Procedure

  1. Open the package in which you want to insert an attachment.
  2. Click the Other actions tab, then click the Attachments page.
  3. Click Browse.

    The Choose file dialog box appears.

  4. Select the file you want to attach.
  5. Click Open.

    The name of the file appears in the File field.

  6. Click Insert attachment.
    Depending on how the AllowedExtension.txt file is configured:
    • if importing the extension is allowed, the file is imported
    • if importing the extension is not allowed, an error message is displayed:

    You cannot upload this attachment. The file type is not supported.

Results

The name, size, and type of the file attached appear in the list. Packages with file attachments are identified by the icon in the list of packages.
