Checking Your Entries

Use

You can check newly recorded or changed data for errors before saving.

This procedure is especially recommended if you use list entry for several employees. It allows you to check the data for each employee individually, and make any necessary corrections immediately.

Procedure

  1. Call the data entry view for CATS classic.

  2. Enter your data as usual.

  3. Choose Check entries .

  4. If there are messages relating to the period being checked, they are listed in a dialog box.

  5. Process the error messages and warnings as required.

  6. Check the data again.

  7. If there are no more errors, you can continue processing data entries.
