Select the options in the Options menu to perform the following actions: In the standard view, the work area is partitioned into three sub-areas:

Changing the Work Area

In the standard view, the work area is partitioned into three sub-areas: the display area, the node area, and the navigation area.

To change the partitioning of the work area, proceed as follows:

  • Choose Start of the navigation pathSettings Next navigation step Change PartitioningEnd of the navigation path.

  • The current window is replaced by a window in which only the option Color assignment is available in the Options menu. The work area of the window contains the schematic of the current work area partitioning and a number of alternative partitionings on the left.

    Select another partitioning and/or other color settings.

Re-ordering Sub-Areas in the Work Area

To change the order of the windows in the work area, proceed as follows:

To do this, proceed as follows:

  • Choose Start of the navigation pathSettings Next navigation step Change SequenceEnd of the navigation path.

  • The current window is replaced by a window in which only the option Color assignment is available in the Options menu. The work area of the window contains templates with alternative sub-area positions. The current template is highlighted.

    Select another template for the work area and/or other color settings.

Positioning the Toolbox

The toolbox is located on top of or to the left of the display area. It contains the most important edit functions. You can place the toolbox in either position, or you can hide it.

Choose one of the following options under Start of the navigation pathOptions Next navigation step ToolboxEnd of the navigation path:

  • Vertical

  • Horizontal

  • No toolbox

Changing Node Selection Marks

You can change the selection marks for the nodes.

Under Start of the navigation pathOptions Next navigation step Select Next navigation step Node/FrameEnd of the navigation path you can make the following settings:

  • Border

  • Inverted

  • With pickmarks

Changing Link Selection Marks

You can change the selection marks for link labels.

Choose one of the following options under Start of the navigation pathOptions Next navigation step Mark Next navigation step EdgesEnd of the navigation path:

  • Border

  • Inverted

  • With pickmarks

  • With color

Changing Color Assignments

You can change the color settings in the three sub-areas of the work area.

Choose Start of the navigation pathOptions Next navigation step Color AssignmentEnd of the navigation path. A dialog box appears. It contains a list of objects and a color selection menu. Choose the desired colors.

Saving Current Settings

Note: This setting is not available in all applications.

To save your current settings, choose Start of the navigation pathOptions Next navigation step Save Current SettingsEnd of the navigation path.

Next time you invoke SAP Network Graphics, the application window will appear with your last saved settings.

Activating Presettings

If you choose the function of the same name, the standard setting is activated.
