Configuring Applications

Prerequisites

You have chosen Start of the navigation pathSAP NetWeaver Administrator Next navigation step Operations Next navigation step Systems  Next navigation step Application ManagerEnd of the navigation path.

Context

This procedure helps you to determine all configuration options for a certain application in a single view.

Procedure

  1. From the Show dropdown box, choose a functionality, depending on the type of applications you want to monitor.
  2. Go to the Configuration Tasks tab.
  3. View the related applications options.
  4. From Actions , select the configuration option you want to execute.
  5. Depending on the configuration type, you have the following options:

    • Choose Execute via Configuration Wizard to navigate to the Configuration Wizard tool. Then, select Execute to execute the configuration task.

    • Choose Show Log to view the logs of already executed configuration tasks.

    • Choose Configure with <tool> . The respective configuration tool is opened so that you can configure the application.
