Viewing Application Logs

Prerequisites

Open SAP NetWeaver Administrator and choose Start of the navigation pathOperations  Next navigation step Systems Next navigation step Application ManagerEnd of the navigation path .

Context

This procedure allows you to view the logs of an application via navigation to the Log Viewer tool.

Procedure

  1. From the Show dropdown box, choose a functionality depending on the type of applications you want to monitor.
  2. Go to the Summary tab.
  3. Concerning the type of related logs you want to display, choose:

    • View logged startup errors

    • View related logs containing errors

    • View all related logs

  4. The Log Viewer tool is opened where you can view the application related logs.
