Viewing Application Settings

The Overview tab lets you see settings and exposed URLs for the selected application from a single screen. The settings that appear vary by application type, for example, Web applications do not include push settings and registration URL.

Procedure

  1. In Management Cockpit, select Applications.
  2. Identify an application, and, under Actions, select Start of the navigation path  Next navigation step Overview End of the navigation path.
  3. On the Information tab, view the settings and exposed URLs. The URLs are not live links, but represent accurate paths, so you can copy them to paste into another location.

    Setting

    Description

    Application ID

    The application identifier.

    Version

    The application version.

    Name

    Application name.

    Type

    Application type, such as Native, Hybrid, and Web.

    Description

    Application description.

    Creation Date

    Date the application was deployed in SAP Mobile Platform Server.

    Vendor

    Application vendor, such as SAP.

    Registration Threshold

    The registration threshold that is set for the application. Values are blank (default) or 0 indicating no threshold; or 1 ‒ 2147483647.

    Online Request Threshold

    The online request threshold that is set for the application. Values are blank (default) or 0 indicating no threshold; or 1 ‒ 2147483647.

    Offline Request Threshold

    The offline threshold that is set for the application. Values are blank (default) or 0 indicating no threshold; or 1 ‒ 2147483647.

    Primary Back-End URL

    The URL for the primary back-end data source, for example, www.google.com or https://<servername>:<port>/sap/opu/odata/sap/SMP_SDK_FLIGHT/

    Server URL

    The URL for the hosting server associated with the application, in the format https://<SERVERHOST>

    Mobile App URL

    The URL for the application:
    • If URL Rewrite Mode is set to "Rewrite URL on Back End", the URL format is: https://<SERVERHOST>/<EndpointPath>.

    • Otherwise, the URL format is: https://<SERVERHOST>/<Application_ID>.

    Push URL

    (Does not apply to Web apps) The URL used for push notifications to the application in the format https://<SERVERHOST>/Notification

    Enhanced Push API URL

    (Does not apply to Web apps) The URL used for push notifications that implement the REST API, in the format https://<SERVERHOST>/restnotification

    Registration URL

    (Does not apply to Web apps) The URL used by mobile device users to register for the application, in the format https://<SERVERHOST>/odata/applications/<latest>/<Application_ID>/Connections

    Security Configuration

    Security configuration setting for the application, such as None, Form, Basic, Certificate, and OAuth

    CSRF Protection

    Whether cross-site request forgery protection is enabled for the application

    Ignore Case for User Name

    Whether case-sensitive matching is used when comparing the registered user name for subsequent application access, and push notification

    Push Configured

    Whether push notifications are configured for the applications running on:
    • Apple devices
    • Android devices
    • BlackBerry devices
    • Windows devices
    • Windows Phone devices

    Predefined Push Configured

    (Content to Go and Fiori Client) Whether the default push configuration that comes with the Apple App Store and Google Play version of the app is enabled.

    Automatic Removal

    Whether inactive registrations are removed automatically.
