Deleting a Cluster Node

Remove an SAP Mobile Platform Server node from a cluster.

Context

For example, remove a server node if the node fails. The node must be in offline mode. You cannot remove a node that is in online mode. When the server node is again available, it will automatically re-attach itself to the cluster.

Procedure

  1. In Management Cockpit, select Cluster.
  2. View status information for all SAP Mobile Platform servers in the cluster node. You can use the filter, search, and sort options, and select tile or table view.
  3. To delete a server node with an offline status, select Start of the navigation path  Next navigation step Delete End of the navigation path.
  4. Check the Cluster tab of any server node that is running to verify the deleted node was removed from the cluster.
