Publishing Error for Agentry Application
While publishing an Agentry application, the message Encountered error while saving the application to the database appears. This problem occurs in a cluster environment using an Adaptive Server Enterprise database, when the Agentry application size exceeds the cache capacity of the database. The initial publishing is successful, but the Agentry application cannot be inserted into the database, or pushed to other nodes in the cluster. The new version of the application is available on one server node, and the older version of the application is available on the rest.
WorkaroundIncrease the memory and cache size of the database installation, and republish the application.
- Restart the server node to get the old version of the application back.
- Increase the procedure cache in the database. The value should exceed the size of the Agentry application.
- Publish the new version of the application again.
