SSOExpiredException Messages in Server Log


The following warning message is logged in the server log: Failed to authenticate user by the backend, caused by SSOExpiredException.

SSOExpiredException messages are logged when a client's SSO credentials have expired.


Assess the SSOExpiredException message and update the SSO configuration in the back end. For example:
Assessment Correction
Large quantity of SSOExpiredException messages. Update the SSO configuration in the back end to increase the lifetime of the credentials.
Client session stops working and the following message is logged: SSOExpiredException:Error occured while forwarding the request to Gateway Evaluate the type of SSO being used and the credentials timeout period to make sure it is appropriate for the client application usage.
