Server Using DB2 Cannot Restart

Problem

After successfully starting after installation, an SAP Mobile Platform Server instance using the DB2 database fails to restart.

Assess and Correct

Assess the root cause and take the appropriate corrective action.
Root Cause Assessment Correction
The DB2 database has used all available transaction log space. On the server node that cannot restart, review the <SMP_HOME>\Server\log\osgi.log for a message similar to this:

<timestamp>#+0200#ERROR#org.jgroups.protocols.SMP_JDBC_PING##anonymous#Time r-2,shared=shared_stack###Error updating JDBC_PING table com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.SqlException: DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-964, SQLSTATE=57011, SQLERRMC=null, DRIVER=4.12.55

Open the database command line interface and execute:

UPDATE DATABASE CONFIGURATION FOR <db_name>> USING LOGFILSIZE
