Server Configuration: Connectors

View current connector settings. HTTP/HTTPS ports are initially set during installation.

You can change the port numbers and other port properties. When you change port numbers in a clustered server environment, make sure that the ports are available in all the systems on which the servers are installed.

To disable HTTP or HTTPS ports, see HTTP/HTTPS Port Number Reference.

Table 32: HTTP Client Connector
Property Description Default
Port TCP port number on which the HTTPS connector creates a server socket and awaits incoming connections. 8080
Maximum Threads Maximum number of request-processing threads to be created by the HTTP connector. 250
Connection Timeout Number of milliseconds that the HTTP connector waits after accepting a connection, before the request URI line appears.

Must be greater than the Relay Server max_junction_idle_sec setting, which defaults to 30 seconds if it is not set in the Relay Server configuration file.

20000
Incoming Request Queue Length Maximum queue length for incoming HTTP connection requests when all the request-processing threads are in use.

Any requests received when the queue is full are refused.

100
Redirect Port Port to direct HTTP connection requests to if they have a security constraint that requires SSL.

Configure this property for connectors that support non-SSL requests.
