Authentication Types Supported in SAP Mobile Platform

The goal of authentication is to challenge users to prove who they are, so they can access resources.

Single sign-on (SSO) is separate from, but closely related to, authentication. The goal of SSO is to allow users to authenticate once within a set time period, so they can access a collection of resources. Without SSO, users must be authenticated separately for each resource.
