Server Connection to Back End Takes Longer Than Expected

Problem

SAP Mobile Platform Server takes longer than expected to connect to the back end.

This problem can occur when a proxy server is used for communicating with a host that is inside the local network, which causes additional delays.

Workaround

Identify the hosts that do not need to use the proxy server by doing the following:
  1. In Management Cockpit, select Start of the navigation path Settings Next navigation step System End of the navigation path.
  2. In the Non Proxy Hosts field, identify the hostnames of any internal hosts. For more information on entering non proxy host names, see Server Configuration: System Properties.

Any URLs referring to the hostnames specified in this property will not go though the proxy.
