Configuring System Landscape Directory Settings in SAP Mobile Platform

Configure the system landscape directory settings using Management Cockpit, and then upload the settings to the SLD server. This automates the step of configuring SAP Solution Manager with SAP Mobile Platform values.

Prerequisites

Obtain the name or IP of the SLD server host, the SLD server port, and the user name and password for accessing the SLD server

Context

SLD server settings are combined automatically with settings from configuration files into one payload. From Management Cockpit, you can upload the settings to the SLD server. Optionally you can ping the SLD server to verify the connection, preview the settings in the payload, and download a file of the settings.

The SAP Mobile Platform Server sends the formatted server information to the SLD server, and shows the result on Management Cockpit. You can also upload the payload manually at any time with this step, even if uploads are regularly scheduled.
