Procedure

  1. In the Connector Administration Cockpit (transaction ESH_COCKPIT), choose Create.

  2. In the dialog box that appears, select the required software component:

    • If the system includes the component PLMWUI, select the software component SAP PLM WebUI.

    • Otherwise, select the software component SAP Enterprise Extension PLM, SCM, Finan.

      A list of connector templates appears.

  3. Select all templates with the prefix EAMS and choose Create Connector.

    In the Connector Administration Cockpit, the connectors are displayed with the status New. The creation of the connectors is completed when the connectors have the status Prepared.

  4. You then create the indexes for the connectors. To do this, select the connectors listed in the table below (sss = system, ccc = client):

  5. Choose Start of the navigation path Actions Next navigation step Schedule Indexing End of the navigation path.

    A dialog box appears.

  6. For all object types, select Start Immediately and Real-Time Indexing. To do this, use the input form and then choose OK.

    The system assigns the connectors the status Scheduled for Indexing. The process is completed when the connectors have the status Active. In addition, the Searchable field should be selected.
