Create or Change a Subscriber Account

Business Context and Use

This service operation is used in the provisioning context, by a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application or another external provisioning system. This operation is used to create or change a subscriber account in SAP Convergent Charging.

Business Partner Management

Your CRM application or another provisioning system manages master data related to the business partners and replicates data in SAP CC by maintaining some subscriber data for end customers of the service provider. Data includes: Subscriber accounts, subscriber mapping tables

Features

This operation maintains a subscriber account. If the subscriber account identified by its identifier does not exist then it is created. If the subscriber account identified by its identifier exists then it is modified. Main Use Case

1. A Customer Relationship Management application maintains the subscriber of a provider contract
2. The subscriber account is maintained accordingly in SAP Convergent Charging

Error Handling

Refer to the information about message handling in the subscriber account business object. The following is a non-exhaustive list of possible errors:

• The subscriber account cannot be maintained to comply with the object in the maintain request.
• A field is invalid such as the tax info mode, the prepaid balance taxation type, the country code or one of the EZTax info fields.
• The subscriber account does not exist and a required field is missing such as the identifier, the identifier of the subscriber or tax info.
