Activate Subscriptions in Bulk

Business Context and Use

The Subscription Bulk Activate operation triggers all the recurring charges related to a set of subscriptions. This operation thus ensures that all recurring charges anterior to a provided date have been triggered. If no date is specified, the operation cannot be executed.

In order to limit the scope of subscriptions' activation, a filter on subscriptions can be specified. In such a situation, only the recurring charges of the subscriptions which match this filter are triggered. If no filter is specified, this operation triggers the recurring charges of all the subscriptions.

A maximum throughput can also be provided. It represents the maximum number of subscriptions which can be activated per second and per rater instance.

The Subscription Bulk Activate operation creates a job which immediately triggers the bulk activation of a set of subscriptions. The identifier of this job is returned and can be used to retrieve the status of the job (please refer to the Read the status of a job operation).
