SAP Convergent Charging uses your login and password to give you a unique user ID. Only administrators and user administrators can create new user profiles.
An SAP user is a person who is:
Authorized to work with SAP Convergent Charging components
Assigned one or more roles in the organization
Associated or not to an existing catalog to set up restrictions on business objects
|
Note: To restrict access and control rights to users, you can also associate a list of authorized accesses with each user profile. |
When SAP Convergent Charging is running, you cannot log on to it using another user name. To change of user name, you must close the SAP Convergent Charging program and relaunch it with the user name and password of the new user.
Roles are predefined levels of authorization that grant users specific access and control rights within the system. The various roles that are available and the level of authority associated with each is listed in the table below.
|
Important: If you are assigned a user administrator role, inform your system administrator before changing your password. The system administrator must update a specified configuration file (refer to the Installation guide: Help resources) each time you change your password. |
